Giveaway Rules on the First Day of Summer!

Today is a beautiful and special day: the Summer Solstice. Along with our artisans in Colombia, El Salvador and India, the team here at Hope For Women celebrates the longest day of the year, when (as the Latin roots illustrate) our sun (sol) stands still (sistere). Today we experience the vast power and the physical hugeness of our Earth and sun. But it is also important to recognize the strength of our global community, because humans make decisions that really impact environmental systems.

Hope For Women’s latest product, Peel Pals™, helps to lessen the detrimental impacts (like toxic packaging and unfair labor practices), and aims to contribute to some good impacts (like Fair Trade, healthy work environments, and recycled, Eco-friendly materials). To celebrate today, and the conscious decisions that we can all make in regards to our Earth, Hope For Women is doing a


Here are the rules:

1. ‘Like’ Hope For Women on our Facebook page (here) and look for our post about the Summer Solstice Giveaway. (If you’d like, you can also follow us on Twitter!)

2. In the comment section of that post (posted on June 21st), just say hi or tell us which Peel Pal™ you like the most.

3. You’re entered! We’ll announce the winner on Thursday, June 23rd and the FREE Peel Pal™ will be mailed shortly after!

Anyone in the U.S. or Canada can enter, so go to our Facebook, check out our most recent Peel Pals™ photo album, pick out your favorite, and tell your friends to do the same! Happy summer and we hope all of you in the north can enjoy the sun today!
